David Williams, P.L.S
Mr. Williams brings over 40 years of experience in construction, surveying, right-of-way engineering, photogrammetric surveying, topographic surveying, subdivision engineering, and exhibit mapping. With a successful track record of project management for surveying large, complex projects, Mr. Williams is greatly qualified to evaluate and make recommendations during the planning, design, and construction phases of any site development project in southern California. Much of his experience includes large, task order-based contracts that involved the collaboration of various contractors, agency coordination, and public stakeholders. Many of these complex developments have involved diverse geologic settings, various landforms, and hilly terrains.
Mr. Williams has maintained a working relationship with Guida personnel for over 20 years. Prior to joining Guida, Mr. Williams served as the Manager of Surveying Services for URS Corporation and Tetra Tech, both large multidisciplinary engineering firms. He was also a founding partner of Fuscoe, Williams, Lindgren and Short, Inc. an Orange County based Land Surveying and Civil Engineering firm providing services to both public and private sectors. In that capacity he was responsible for the management of up to 12 survey crews and also established that firm's Riverside, CA branch office which ultimately included over 50 office and field engineering personnel. Prior to 1977, Mr. Williams fulfilled a 20-year career at Caltrans performing as a Field Office Manager, Field Survey Supervisor, and District Photogrammetry.
