Party Chief
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
supervision of a field crew by instructing Chainmen in proper field
procedures and safety; training and updating of new surveying instruments
including: levels, transits, theodolites, and electronic distance
measuring devices; understanding and performing surveying calculations;
the ability to keep accurate field notes and make sketches; and
mentoring of junior and mid level staff. Candidate must have completed
the Journeyman chainman program, at least a high school diploma,
and a valid drivers license.
